Karolyn and Brian are getting married

"Please don't rain, please don't rain, please don't rain." I thought if I begged hard enough the cosmos would grant us a reprieve and we would be able to sneak Karolyn and Brian's engagement session in before the sky opened up. They were in town from Madison, Wi for one day only, and Mike and I had been looking forward to hanging out with them for months. Well, not only did it not rain, but we had an absolute blast. The thing that struck me most about this session was how happy Karolyn and Brian are together. They just couldn't stop smiling and their excitement was catching. We had a lot of laughs, covered a lot of ground and used the beautifully overcast sky to our full advantage. Mike and I are now even more excited to shoot Karolyn and Brian's big day, a tandem event that starts in Wisconsin and wraps up here in Illinois, in August. Thanks for a wonderful morning, you two!
