Evan and Avery

When we saw Evan last year, he had just turned one and was a cute little toddler who had just started walking. Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of hanging out with 2-year-old Evan at his family's brand new home. And, not only that, but I got the chance to meet Evan's new 6-month-old sidekick, Avery. Don't even try to tell me these guys aren't two of the cutest little brothers ever. I couldn't be happier for all of the blessings that have come your way over the past year, Diana and Eddie. Congratulations on the new baby and the new home! It was great seeing you again.

Ishaan and Arjun

These two brothers were so much fun. I caught up with this family last Monday afternoon in Bucktown so Ishaan could show me his mad skills on his cool tricycle and Arjun could flash some of his amazing smiles. It was nice meeting you, Prabhu ad Shubhra. You have such a lovely family!

Sarah and Brian's Wedding

I had been looking forward to Sarah and Brian's wedding since I first met them late last year. They're such a sweet couple and were so excited about their big day. I was also pumped that my good friends Neda, of Makeup by Neda, and Stephanie, of Flowers by Stem, assisted Sarah with her look for the day. Everything was just beautiful. The day had been overcast and threatening rain, but the minute everyone arrived at All Saints Episcopal Church the sun pushed through the clouds and the rest of the day was picture perfect. After a personal ceremony with family and friends, Mike and I headed off with the wedding party for a few hours of frivolity at Welles Park, Wrigley Field and Buckingham Fountain. Then it was off to The Ballroom for a lovely reception. Thank you so much, Sarah and Brian, for having us be a part of your big day. It was a pleasure getting to know you and your families. Congratulations again!
