A day at the beach

One of the best parts about living in Chicago is being close to Lake Michigan in the summer. It's a blast. Beachgoers and volleyball nets on one side and a dramatic city skyline on the other. It's like a mini vacation every sunny weekend. That's why I was so excited when this family requested a beach photo session. Mike and I had a great time running around with them Sunday morning. The kids enjoyed burying themselves in the sand, dipping their toes in the water and scoping out the palm trees. Thanks for a wonderful morning, you guys!
