A day at the beach

One of the best parts about living in Chicago is being close to Lake Michigan in the summer. It's a blast. Beachgoers and volleyball nets on one side and a dramatic city skyline on the other. It's like a mini vacation every sunny weekend. That's why I was so excited when this family requested a beach photo session. Mike and I had a great time running around with them Sunday morning. The kids enjoyed burying themselves in the sand, dipping their toes in the water and scoping out the palm trees. Thanks for a wonderful morning, you guys!

Monkey See, Monkey Drew

It was our little friend Drew's first Chicago outing this afternoon, and his Mom and Dad picked one of my favorite places in the city, the Lincoln Park Zoo. I, of course, brought along a camera...and Drew stole the show! While Drew slept through most of the adventure, Mike and I had a great time catching up with Jeff and Susan. As always, it was great seeing you guys...let's do it again soon!

Last call for summer sessions!

It's hard to believe, but summer is flying by already! Mike and I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that our July is officially booked, and August dates are filling up fast. Little Big Blue Eyes

Check out those eyes! Tyler was a natural this weekend as we hung out with his family and knew all of the cutest poses. This family had such a great dynamic...so sweet and happy. Mike and I especially got a kick out of Casey, the dog, and how well she and Tyler got along! Thanks so much, Laura and Andy, for a perfect summer afternoon.
