Saturday in the park

It. Was. HOT. Even at 11AM last Saturday morning. But Molly and I were determined to snap a few updated family photos, and I am so glad we all stuck it out as long as we did! Horner Park proved to be a great location, offering a lot of fun backdrops...and some much needed shade! Addie, Kacie and JJ are just so cute and were great sports. (So were you, Jimmy! Thanks for humoring us). It was nice meeting you guys...enjoy the photos!

Troopers

It started to rain LITERALLY the minute we all met at Oz Park, which made the already humid, incredibly buggy morning even more unbearable. But that didn't stop this amazing family. Afterall, there was just no time to reschedule: they will be moving abroad soon where they will live and work for most of next year. Mike and I had a blast with Michael and his little brother, Daniel. What great boys! They had such sweet spirits, and Mike and I got the biggest kick out of how Michael switched so seemlessly between speaking in English and Russian throughout our time together. And we just loved how it was so important to Viktoria to include her mother, who has been such an amazing support for her over the past few years with all of their international travel, in the shoot. We could just feel the love and it was definitely worth getting eaten alive to be a part of this tight-knit family for an hour.

Happy Birthday Carol

What a sweet gesture! In honor of their mother's birthday, Jeff and Michelle got the whole family together for a photo session before a nice dinner out on the town. Mike and I had met Michelle, Nick and their two boys, Jack and Charlie, earlier this year, and it was so nice to meet the rest of the family. We hope this was a nice way to kick-off the festivities. Happy Birthday, Carol!
