Michael, Katie and Matt

So, I have to admit...I was nervous about this session. Taking photos for a photographer is one intimidating gig. But this family made it very easy...and very, very fun. Elizabeth obviously has a great eye for staging and came up with some great ideas for shots. She and her husband, Mike, were easy-going and awesome with their three kids. Michael and Kate and I hit it off right away. They're just great and continually cracked me up. And baby Matt takes the cake for being the smiliest, happiest little client ever. Man oh man, it took nothing to get him to break into an adorable grin! Thanks for a great time, you guys.

Fall fun with Calla

After spending a morning a few weeks ago with her cousins, it was time once again to hang with our little friend, Calla. We had a great time exploring all of her mama's awesome fall decorations (Kendra, you really have the best design eye!), showing off some awesome toys, playing dress up in a pair of her mom's cute heals (that just cracked me up!) and snuggling with grandma and grandpa, who were visiting for the day. Thanks for a great time, as always, Kendra and Eric! And it was so nice meeting you, Grandma and Grandpa S.!

Li'l Swede

Her "Li'l Swede" onesie cracked us up. It was only one of the reasons that Mike and I got such a huge kick out of Annika last Sunday. She is such a happy one year old...confident, comfortable, friendly. A complete reflection of her easy-going parents. I truly think it's impossible not to be happy just looking at Annika's joyous little expressions...seemingly different in every single photo. We so enjoyed getting to know you, Kirsten and Kevin! Thanks for a really fun time.
