Miriam and Mac Part I: A Family Affair

The night before their wedding, Miriam and Mac treated their family and close friends to a sunset boat cruise on Lake Michigan. Before the Gypsy Spirit set sail, it was important to Miriam and Mac to capture a few family and group portraits of all their guests. Everyone was so excited to be together...they traveled from all around the country and even from Canada to celebrate with the happy couple, and the love this group shared for eachother and the happiness they had for Miriam and Mac was just evident. Thank you, everyone, for letting us be a part of the family for the evening! We had a great time with all of you.

Through the years: Pam and John's 40th

Last Saturday night, Mike and I had the honor of shooting Pam and John's 40th anniversary party at Lewis University in Romeoville. Pam and John chose a Hawaiian theme for their big night as that is where they honeymooned. It was an evening filled with family and dear friends, reliving old memories and making sweet new ones. Thank you for letting us be a part of your big night and for feeling like part of your family for a few hours.

Welcome Home

It felt like a holiday the minute we stepped into their house. Warmth, music, laughter, the excitement of catching up. The little nephews wrestled with their uncles, cuddled with their aunties. Grandma was full of smiles of joy...grandpa couldn't resist smiles of pride. Mike and I were glad to see our little friend, Charlie, again and were thrilled to meet his newborn baby brother, Jack, and his smiley cousin, Sam. This family made us feel welcome, cozy and right at home. We really enjoyed being part of the gang on this chilly fall Saturday morning. It made us homesick for our own families back in Ohio and anxious to see them all, soon, for our own family reunions. Thanks again for a terrific morning!
