Stephanie and Ryan's wedding

Stephanie and Ryan's wedding was a multi-state affair starting at Holy Name Catholic Church in Indiana and ending at the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel in downtown Chicago. The day was full of family sentiment. In between the ceremony and reception, we were able to take photos at Stephanie's family's lake house. And for the cocktail hour, Stephanie donned the gown that her mother and grandmother wore on their own wedding days. I was happy to be a part of the fun, second shooting for my friend Victoria Sprung. Congratulations, Stephanie and Ryan!

Hanging out with Theo

Theo rocked his close-ups a few Saturdays ago in Lincoln Park. It was an uncomfortably hot afternoon...the start of this lovely heat wave Chicago and the rest of the Midwest has been enduring. But that didn't stop Theo from giving us his best smiles, modeling a few great hats and cuddling with Mom and Dad. It was great seeing you again, Genevieve and Jack! Try to stay cool out there.

Landon's birthday bash

Mike and I were thrilled to be a part of our little friend Landon's first birthday party. It was a sweet day filled with family and friends, music and laughter, and a great opportunity to get everyone together for some fun photos. Thanks again for including us, Karina and Jason, and congratulations again to little Landon on an amazing first year!

Eight Cousins

This was not my typical portrait session. I have taken photos for Molly, Jimmy, Addie, Kacie and J.J. before, and last Friday I had the pleasure of meeting the rest of the family. Jimmy's parents and sisters and their families all got together for a summer photography session. The 8 cousins all did a great job. They made it through an inordinate amount of posed photos and then had a little fun goofing around with me, mugging for my camera. Thanks for having me be a part of the gang for a little while!
