Happy Birthday, Little Ava

Alison, Ava and I had the best time kicking off Ava's first birthday celebration last Wednesday morning. Ava's dad had to work, so we celebrated just us girls. It was really special for me to be able to capture some sweet mommy and daugher moments on Ava's actual big day! I can't even believe how big Ava has grown since I last saw her last May. She has the same sweet, fun, smiley little personality, though, and I got the biggest kick out of watching her crawl around and pull herself up onto her feet. She'll be motoring around the house in no time at all, Alison and Max! Hope you had a wonderful time celebrating Ava's big birthday this weekend. Thanks again for a great time!

Baby Bump

We could have kept taking pictures of this awesome couple all afternoon. Mike and I just had a blast with Jason and Ali and her baby bump last Sunday. It was one of those "Oh, I just had a great idea!" and "Hey, how about we try something like this" sessions...the ideas kept on flowing. Mike and I were able to get some fun, creative shots to capture this exciting time in Ali and Jason's life. We can't wait to hear about your new arrival next month. Good luck, you two!

Shine On

What a fun shoot to kick off 2011. Karina and Jason are self-proclaimed "cold weather people" and thank God for that! They wanted to take advantage of some of the great holiday lights adorning Michigan Ave. before they all come down. It was cold and little Landon was a champ for hanging in there with us. Here's to a great new year, Karina and Jason!
