Beach Baby

As a fellow beach-bum myself, it was an honor to document Lilly's first day at the beach this past Sunday. It was the first true summer day in Chicago and Hollywood Beach was packed with people looking to soak up some sun. Lilly was fearless, charging into the waves, digging in the sand and playing with her new beach ball. Thanks for a great time, Katie and Matt! Here's to an amazing summer.

Bryce and Co.

We had a great time last Saturday morning meeting up with Lindsay, Ryan and Bryce. Mike and I couldn't get over how big Bryce has gotten since we celebrated his first birthday with him and his family last year. And we were just thrilled when Lindsay and Ryan shared their big news with us! We had a blast hanging out in Millennium Park...but everyone's favorite part of the shoot was discovering that all of the trees were in bloom in the Art Institute gardens. That garden has always been one of my favorite places in all of Chicago, and I am so glad we got to capture such a sweet and exciting time in this families life there. Congratulations, you guys! We can't wait to meet the new babies later this fall.

Oh Brothers

Jack and Charlie cracked us up. Jack played it cool at first, but in the end couldn't hide all of his top model moves. And Charlie really got a kick out of the entire shoot, smiling and cuddling and enjoying the chance to be close enough to Jack to grab a fist-full of his brother's hair every now and then. They were just great and you can already tell they are going to be best friends as they grow up. Thanks for a great time, Michelle and Nick!
