Little Slugger

Mike and I have a special place in our hearts for the name Charlie. And this little guy sure lived up to the name! Charlie won us over from the minute he showed off his mad baseball skills, and we continued to have a blast with him, playing around on his swing set, and with Nerf guns, toy cars, scooters, Transformers and Big Wheels. Charlie will be joined by a new baby brother in just a few days. Mom and dad are very excited for their new arrival, as is Charlie who is happily anticipating a partner in crime. Good luck over the next several days, Erin and Andy! Can't wait to see you all again in September when we get to meet baby brother.

Big shoes to fill

He knew my name the minute I walked in the door. He also knew what 1 +1 equals, did a mean "Green Hulk" impersonation and enjoys listening to the Beatles. But above all, "Little C" loves trying on other people's shoes. His dad's, his mom's, his baby sister's. He's so curious about how things feel and work...especially our cameras. He spent a lot of the morning peering into my lens, fascinated, while his baby sister was very content posing. She was completely unfazed by the camera and enjoyed being cuddled by mom, dad and big brother. Mike and I had a great time getting to know you guys. How amazing to meet another Ohioan who went to our rival high school here in Chicago!
